Acting on behalf of a local landowner, Southwest property consultants Vickery Holman have concluded the sale of development land in Redruth to Halsall Construction for an undisclosed sum. The 1.19 acre site, adjacent to Trekye Close on the outskirts of Four Lanes, will be used for a residential development.
Alan Treloar, of Vickery Holman, said: “Halsall Construction have purchased the site having obtained planning consent for the development of 22 affordable dwellings.
“We are experiencing good levels of interest in most of the development opportunities that we are marketing at the moment and with targets for the number of new homes to be delivered at challenging levels, we are always keen to speak to landowners about the potential in their particular ownership.”
David Matthews, the Strategic Development Manager at Halsall, said the site will provide much needed housing in the area, and that further developments will follow.
“Working with Vickery Holman, the landowner and Cornwall Council, we have secured and delivered planning on this exciting scheme.
“This is the first of a developed pipeline of new sites in Devon and Cornwall that Halsall are bringing forward,” he added.
