Movehut trends in March & April

The key performance indicators (KPI’s) used by management to measure the growth and success of the business have been performing strongly during this challenging time. A selection of the key metrics and respective rates of growth can be found below:  

43% of Movehut’s traffic during the March to April period came from Google Chrome users. With a further 40% of visits coming from Safari.  

Google Chrome has an internet browser market share of 45%, making it the most popular browser globally.  

Google Chrome is set to grow further as more people download the browser.  

In fact, over 60% of Google searches come from mobile devices. can reveal that 57% of visitors are using a mobile device to search for properties on the website.  

A majority (66%) of visitors to are between the ages of 25 to mid-’50s. This demographic is significant as most small business owners, entrepreneurs, and co-owners fall into this group as reported by  

Serviced office searches and warehousing remain popular but interestingly nurseries (childcare) and gyms are third and fourth most popular searches conducted on during the lockdown. 

Since the UK lockdown was announced on March 23rd, has seen a 75% increase in visits to the end of April.
