Towngate Business Centre lettings are a ‘Sign of the Times’ for North West

One of the North of England’s leading industrial property providers, Towngate PLC, has completed the lettings of two warehouse/industrial units in Widnes.

Both units are at the firm’s thriving Towngate Business Centre on Everite Road, which provides 275,000 sq ft of industrial and warehouse accommodation. The centre also comprises areas for outdoor storage, parking space and 24 hour security. Situated on an 18 acre site, the property provides easy access to the M62, M57 and M56 motorways and is linked to Liverpool, Runcorn and Warrington via the A562.

Unit 5 is a prominently positioned 77,150 sq ft unit featuring 8 dock level loading doors together with an adjoining yard. The property has been let on a three year lease to third party logistics provider Parker International Limited.

In the second deal, cosmetics and household goods distributor Xpel Marketing has signed a five year lease on Unit 7, which also provides a prominent frontage to Everite Road. This 32,405 sq ft property features two ground level loading doors and a separate covered loading area.

The lettings demonstrate Towngate PLC’s success in turning Towngate Business Centre around in recent months. They are also an indication the growing strength of the regional economy and the commercial property market.

The twin deals mean there are now only two units remaining at Towngate Business Centre. These units can be leased separately, or interlinked, so range in size from 28,500 sq ft – 62,500 sq ft. Additional yard space is also available if required
