A Blackburn-based agency has simultaneously pulled off a trio interlinked commercial deals along the M65 corridor in Lancashire.
Taylor Weaver, an independent firm of chartered surveyors and commercial property agents, negotiated all three transactions — involving clients in Britain, Australia and Denmark — on sites adjacent to the motorway north of Blackburn and through Burnley to Colne and down the Rossendale valley.
The first deal saw Weavers acting for the landlords and negotiating the surrender of Micromatic’s lease on a 56,000 sq ft high bay modern warehouse building at Walker Park.
A Danish-owned supplier of draught beer and soft drink equipment to more than 120 countries, Micromatic is relocating to a modern 14,800 sq ft warehouse building on Altham Business Park in Hyndburn. This deal also involved negotiating the surrender of the existing lease with on-line retailer, Cleverboxes.
Pentland Wholesale, founded in 1993 as a supplier of commercial refrigeration and catering equipment, then signed a new lease on the vacated Walker Park premises. The trade supplier is moving from its current Whitebirk Industrial Estate base near Blackburn.
Finally, Taylor Weaver secured the lease on a detached 8,500 sq ft warehouse on Sandringham Court, Network 65, Burnley, to allow Cleverboxes, which specialises in information technology and consumer electronics, to expand its product range.
“Both myself and my fellow director, Alex Taylor, were involved in these three deals and we are delighted to have been able to assist all the companies in relocating their businesses in what was a complicated series of simultaneous transactions,” said Neil Weaver.
