A business park development on the site of a former RAF base is set to re-energise Gloucester’s commercial sector and provide hundreds of jobs, says a local property professional.
Commercial property consultants Bruton Knowles has been appointed, alongside Alder King, to market the Kingsway Business Park scheme which is being developed by Gloucestershire firm Robert Hitchins.
The site, close to junction 12 of the M5, has already been partly developed for residential, community and retail uses.
Robert Smith, from Bruton Knowles, said; “Kingsway Business Park will offer bespoke design and build opportunities in an attractive landscaped environment. The location takes full advantage of the wide range of local amenities and a skilled workforce.”
Smith added that the business park will be a sustainable development with excellent transport links for pedestrians, cyclists, bus users and drivers. It is also in close proximity to both an Asda store and a Tesco Express.
Bruton Knowles, will be marketing Kingsway Business Park’s centrepiece development which will provide high quality office space in units of 3,200 sq ft upwards.
