Property firm Bellrock has released details of three recent deals completed by its London Office. One of these is a new sub-lease for shop on Melbourne Street, Stalybridge (pictured). The premises comprise a 972 sq ft ground floor sales area together with a 282 sq ft first floor room.
The property has a rateable value of £11,500 and the permitted use class is A1. Neighbouring occupiers include Greggs, Coral and Superdrug.
Bellrock acted for the landlord, Johnson Cleaners UK Limited, to let the vacant unit to a private individual for use as a clothing shop. The deal was subject to one month rent free from completion.
The other deals both involve lease surrenders on the South Coast.
The first is a Portsmouth city centre retail unit providing 894 sq ft of commercial space with permitted uses classes of A1/A2 with a rateable value of £16,750.
Nearby properties are occupied by Coral, Barclays and Debenhams, alongside a range of independent shops, bars and restaurants.
In this case Bellrock surrendered the lease on behalf of the tenant, The Money Shop.
The second lease surrender involves a Southampton retail unit on Shirley Road, close to Millbrook Train Station.
This property provides 831 sq ft of sales space on the ground floor and a 623 sq ft first floor ancillary space. Use classes A1/A2 are permitted and the rateable value is £9,600.
Retailers in the vicinity include Tesco, McDonalds and Boots.
Once again, Bellrock surrendered the lease on behalf of the tenant, The Money Shop.
