Auction House held two auctions last week, on Tuesday and Wednesday. At the time of printing, only one auction had published their results.
The first auction took place at Fanhams Hall Hotel in Herts. The auction commenced at midday, but the results were not yet available.
Wednesday’s auction was a big one. Held at Leeds United Football Club, a total of 46 lots were offered and 90 per cent of those sold. Six lots were sold prior to the auction and 35 lots saw the hammer come crashing down. Almost three million pounds was raised from that auction alone – what a fantastic result.
One particular highlight from the auction was an old nursing home which sold for £341,000. The guide price for this property was a modest £175,000 – £225,000.
