Two auctions were held last week by Auction House in Grantham and Walsall. Both auctions were held on Wednesday evening and here is what happened before and during the auctions.
The first auction took place at 18:00 at Walsall Football Club. A total of 18 lots were offered with all but one selling. Three sold prior to the auction and in total the 17 lots raised £1.7 million. One particular highlight was a former church selling for £120,000.
Later that day the auction being held at The De Vere Belton Woods Hotel commenced at 18:30. This was one of Auction House South Lincs and East Leics smaller auctions, but three of the five lots sold. In total the three lots raised over a quarter of a million pounds, with a plot of land fetching £65,000 alone.
It was yet another great week for Auction House. Their next auction will be held on Tuesday 15th October at 18:00 at the York Auction Centre. Click here for information about which lots are available.
